Whether you hand over or keep your car keys depends on your chosen parking form. With regards to Valet Parking, you leave your keys with the parking provider for the whole duration of your trip because a chauffeur parks your car for you. With regards to Shuttle Parking, you get to keep your keys because this is a self-park option, meaning that you park the car yourself. If a parking provider asks to keep your keys whilst you are away, this may be to make car parking more efficient and the car park more organised, or for fire safety reasons. Handing over your keys isn't usually necessary if you have chosen Shuttle Parking, as this is a self-park option. In some cases, however, the parking provider may ask you to give up your keys for the duration of your trip just to maximise space in the car park and make car parking more efficient for customers, or to ensure security with regards to fire safety. Rest assured that your car will not be driven unless it is absolutely necessary to do so, and that your keys will always be kept in a safe until you return. I have parked my vehicle at the car park. How do I get to the airport?

Your means of transportation to the airport depend on the parking form you have chosen. With regards to Shuttle Parking, you first park your car at the car park and then hop on a free shuttle bus, which brings you straight to the airport terminal. If you opted for Valet Parking, you will drop off your car at the airport terminal and hand over your keys to the chauffeur, who will then park your car for you. With Park & Walk, you simply take a few minutes' stroll straight to the airport after you have parked. With Park, Sleep & Fly, you are taken to the airport from the hotel, usually with a shuttle bus.

How frequently does a shuttle bus run?

It is important to inform the parking provider about you expected time of arrival when making your reservation. This way, your parking provider can make sure to provide you with a timely shuttle transfer straight to the airport.
